Rejoicing in Christ is a wonderfully written meditation on the person and work of Jesus. It’s a short read with only 5 chapters, but the content is Christ-centered through and through. He writes, “The cornerstone, the jewel in the crown of Christianity is not an idea, a system, or a thing; It is not even ‘the gospel’ as such. It is Jesus Christ.”
In my opinion, much of today’s Christianity is focused on the self. It’s self-helpism disguised as “sanctification.” Reeves reorients readers back to Christ, the true center of the Christian faith. I absolutely think this short book(let?) is well worth the read.
